Prepare your palates and sharpen your senses because something extraordinary is happening in Istanbul! Eight teams of culinary virtuosos from the countries/clusters within the EME Region & Google and Amazon Accounts have again sharpened their knives and joined the battle where East meets West! Each team comprises a senior chef and a junior chef, selected from the countries/clusters within the EME Region. Our esteemed judging panel will evaluate eight passionate teams, 16 talented chefs, three challenging courses, and 24 delicious dishes. The theme of the EME Culinary Cup'24 is "A Taste of Tomorrow." This year, our culinary journey transcends beyond the realm of taste. At Compass Group, we are committed to fostering sustainability and championing "Net Zero" emission practices. That's why the theme of EME Culinary Cup'24 revolves around "Sustainability and Procurement," echoing our dedication to a greener, more sustainable future.
Our participants will be given a predetermined budget to use efficiently, as their spending is part of the scoring.
• Contestants will present three dishes – appetizer, main course, and dessert –
• The Carbon emissions from the recipes will be calculated.
• Waste generated by participants will be measured as part of sustainability criteria.
• One of the main courses or appetizers must be plant-based.
• Finalists will be evaluated on their readiness, organization, adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules and procedures, sustainability efforts, and the taste and presentation of the final product.
